OKAY Hypermarket: the World's Best Technology in Russian Retail |
OKAY hypermarket is part of the centralised chain of trade
complexes, the first European scale hypermarket
in Russia (huge trade complex + entertainment centre). It
occupies an area of 10,000 square metres, serves about ten
thousand customers daily and offers them eighteen thousand
items. The hypermarket houses cafes, various facilities and
a beauty parlour. It has its own production line, a small

of trade complexes.

The traditional solution to this task was data exchange between two
information systems. The first one was local and united sales
area equipment. The other was an ERP system that automated
business at the level of the head office.
